PICTURE OF THE DAY as selected by the Wedding Community Blog

I’m delighted to share that one of my photos was selected as the ‘WEDDING PICTURE OF THE DAY’ by the Wedding Community Blog today. I cover weddings throughout the UK but I shoot a lot in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.  I love wedding photography and Oxfordshire has some awesome wedding venues which have provided some stunning backdrops for my clients. This photo was taken from a bridge near Cherwell Boathouse in Oxford and I was thrilled with the result.

I decided to make this image Black & White to enhance and draw more attention to the couple and before I shot this picture, I:

1. visited the wedding venue and location

2. checked my different photography lenses to decide which one I will use one the day

3. checked the height of the bridge which helped me to recommend some poses for the couple

I always try to find different angles and light conditions as a wedding photographer. Oxfordshire has plenty of wonderful hidden locations and I can’t wait for my next adventure and wedding in there.
