Last week Monday my niece Merili and my dog Scrum (#scrumthedog) headed to Scotland for a holiday. A road trip that had been brewing in my head for a while. So before the crazy wedding season starts it was most appropriate to pack the bags, fill the car with diesel and start the engine.
We started off from Buckinghamshire and the first day destination was Stirling. After 7 hours, 388 miles and 2 cups of Costa coffee we arrived safe and sound at West Plean House.
We spent the first day visiting Wallace Monument, eating a lovely lunch at Sable & Flea on Friars Street and walked around the streets of Striling. We highly recommend Sable & Flea cafe, super fresh food, wonderful owner and Scrum was welcomed with open arms.
The wind was extraordinary strong on the day but the sun kept peeking out and we couldn’t have wished for a nicer first day in Scotland.
Here are some highlights from the portraits session I did with Merili & Scrum and I very much hope you like them.
