Simple Wedding Timetable Example for Brides & Grooms
How much time shall I allow to get dressed? How much time do we need for photos? And does it take long for my guests to be seated? To clarify, where do I even start? If these are some of the questions that go through your head, then let me help you so that you’re not in the dark.
I know how important it is to get a good head start on your timetable so that all your plans fall into place and allow you to have a more relaxed, enjoyable wedding day. That’s why I decided to share a couple of Simple Wedding Timetable DRAFTS based on recent UK weddings.
Sure, everyone has variables, but after 10 years of professional photography and over 200 weddings shot, I am confident that these drafts can help you get the right timetable for you.
THE TOP RECOMMENDATION AMONGST MY COUPLES IS TO ALLOW SOME BREATHING SPACE THROUGHOUT YOUR DAY. YOU DON’T WANT TO FEEL THAT YOU ARE BEING RUSHED FROM ONE PART OF THE DAY TO ANOTHER. ADD AN EXTAR 5-15 MIN AT EACH STAGE IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU MAY RUN OUT OF TIME. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

GROUP PHOTOS can be an issue; they can take longer than you want and can even cause some tension. Here are my top tips for group photos.
TOP TIP #1 for GROUP PHOTOS: ask yourself who are those photos for? Am I going to frame it? Are we doing it because EVERYONE does it? Am I happy to stand more than 30min on the same spot waiting for people to join for the photo?
TOP TIP #2: Allow 3 minutes per group photos. Most popular group photos include immediate family (parents, siblings & their partners, grandparents, nephews, nieces) and bridesmaids & groomsmen. Make a list as this will hugely help on the day. Give a copy to your bridesmaids & groomsmen too as they can speed up the process. .
CHURCH CEREMONY (Example 2)
Successfully used by my UK couples, these draft examples helped them to wrap their head around their wedding timetable. Most importantly, I hope they give you some clarity and a starting point to prepare your personal timetable too.
In addition, my superpower is helping couples get clarity on how to plan out their wedding day, so that it is relaxed and enjoyable for them. You get this superpower as a free bonus if you book me as your wedding photographer! If you would like to ask any questions or want to talk about your wedding day, please contact me. In other words, let’s chat about you plans.

Eneka was the greatest decision for our Wedding photographs. The package she offered was fantastic but to add to this Eneka also helped us planning certain parts of the wedding with the timings which was a massive help. I cannot even begin to thank her for the great work she did on the day and the pictures are amazing. If you are getting married in Buckinghamshire then Eneka is the best choice by far for your wedding photos. – Clarice & Michael
Absolute Perfection! Eneka exceeded our expectations and captured some of the most beautiful moments of our wedding day. Eneka was fantastic throughout the entire planning process and on the day, both her and Bart were photography ninjas as they seemed to get the most amazing shots without anyone knowing they were there! We could not have asked for more and these photos will be something we cherish for the rest of our lives. – Brittany & James
Eneka was the best decision we made for our wedding. We knew we were in safe hands from our first meeting as she had lots of advice and was just so lovely. She really made all our guests feel at ease but also knew how to get the most out of the day. It rained the whole day but thanks to Eneka’s expertise, our photos are better than we could have possibly imagined – she perfectly captured the romantic autumn colours and fun of the day. Thank you so much! – Katy & Daniel
