Hastoe Village Hall Wedding Photography
Nicola and Nick got married at Hastoe Village Hall, a small village near Tring in Hertfordshire. Since the venue is almost like a blank canvas, this newly restored historic Rothschild building was a perfect setting for their DIY wedding.
They had put a lot of time and effort into making the venue ready for the wedding day. The highlight was the most amazing, probably the biggest, pompom decoration hanging from the ceiling. Also, most noteworthy, personalised N-shape home biscuits. Nephews and nieces passed these wedding favours around and they were such a sweet idea because they were so unique. Rather delicious and as a result went down like a treat with coffee & tea.
Nicola wore a stunning full length sleevless grey wedding dress accompanied by beautiful jewellery and flowers. Before their humanist wedding ceremony, Nicola and Nick decided to meet outside and walk down the aisle together. Another fantastic idea that was cheered by all the family and guests.
Outside space was used for the reception drinks, photos and cricket game. During that period the staff had a chance to turn the room around for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The room was arranged into three long tables which left plenty of space for 120 seats. They had 5 speeches and all were very touching & heartwarming. The party kicked off with their first dance and went on till late hours. Here are some of my favourite moments of the day.
