Cotswolds Pre-Wedding Photography

I’m super excited to share a recent shoot from the Cotswolds. If you haven’t visited it yet, the Cotswolds is an area in south central England containing the Cotswold Hills with its unique features derived from the use of the golden coloured Cotswolds stone. The predominantly rural landscape contains stone-built villages, historical towns and stately homes and gardens. A perfect place for photos.

Colin and Yvonne got in touch with me at the beginning of this year. They live in Hong Kong but regulalry travel the world and the next stop was England. A special place in both of their hearts. They met whilst studing in the UK and fell head over heels in love.

They are planning their wedding in Hong Kong but were keen to do their pre-wedding photos in an English countryside.

So we decided to go to Castle Combe in Wiltshire. A breathtakingly beautiful village in the Cotswolds, on the outskirts of Bath and about 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the town of Chippenham.

We started our shoot at the Manor House. A five star luxury country house hotel, home to the definitive country retreat at the heart of the 14th century village of Castle Combe.

We were treated by a rather wonderful weather and I couldn’t have wished for a better sunset.

I’m so grateful for Colin & Yvonne getting in touch with me and most of all, trusting me to photograph their pre-wedding photos. Also a special thanks to Harry for all his help on the day.
