Charlotte and Jamie got married on a bank holiday weekend in May. They had the most wonderful and enjoyable wedding ceremony in Haddenham. The ceremony was beautifully conducted by the lovely vicar Nadine at St Mary’s church, set in the middle of the village.
After some family group photos and a confetti aisle we jumped in the car to drive to Notley Tythe Barn. Set in the Chiltern Hills, this unique venue is a super place for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
A fresh drink was waiting for everyone at the entrance and as we had the loveliest weather throughout the day, the outdoor space was well occupied. We probably had the hottest day so far in 2017.
Their seating plan was rather creative and very well made. A world map of places that they have visited as a pair with strings pointing to a list of guest names. Once everyone had found their seats, we were treated to three excellent speeches. Father of the bride, groom and finally the best man. All perfectly planned and presented.
Charlotte and Jamie are the nicest couple and it was a pure joy to work with them. A sparklers aisle was a fantastic idea at the end of the night, it got everyone engaged for a fun activity.
Most noteworthy was the love that Charlotte & Jamie share. It was so clear that it was the best day of their life and these two are meant to be together.
